Who we are

Success AI Tutor is operated by Success Tutoring. [Legal entity name, ABN and contact details to be confirmed.]

Information we collect

Parent accounts: email address, password (stored as a secure one-way hash), optional display name, country, and your consent choices.
Learner profiles: a nickname, country, optional region, school year, curriculum, preferred subjects, optional learning goals and explanation style. We do not ask for a child's real name, date of birth, school or photo.
Learning activity: tutoring messages (with personal details removed), practice questions and answers, hints used.
Guests: no personal information. A random session cookie and a daily-rotating, irreversible hash of the IP address are used to apply fair-use limits. Guest sessions are deleted after about 24 hours.
Operational logs: AI usage metrics (token counts, cost, model, latency) without message content.

How we use it

To provide tutoring and show progress to the parent.
To keep the service safe, including moderation and safety escalation.
To operate within budget and prevent abuse.
To send marketing to parents only if they have separately opted in. We never market to children.

AI providers

Tutoring messages (after personal information is removed) are processed by third-party AI model providers acting on our behalf. [Provider list, processing locations and data-retention terms to be confirmed.]

Retention

Guest data: about 24 hours. Learner conversations: up to 12 months of inactivity by default, or until you delete them. Safety records may be retained longer where required.

Your choices

From the parent dashboard you can download your data, delete a learner profile, delete your account, and change marketing preferences.

We use essential cookies only: a sign-in session cookie and a guest session cookie. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
